A quick tasty treat.
core apples, removing seeds and pulp to make 1-1/4 inch wide cavity. Peel off strip around top of each apple. Mix chooped cookies, cinnamon and lemon peel. Spoon intocavaties; press filling firmly into each. Place apples in 13/9 in baking dish. Dot tops of apples with butter. Mix apple juice and lemon juice and drizzle over apples. Bake at 350? for 45-55 mins or until apples are tender. Serve warm. Nutrition (calculated from recipe ingredients)
